Have you ever wished you had one more handwritten letter from someone you love?
Not a text.
Not an email.
Something they held.
Something they wrote.
Have you ever wondered what your grandmother's handwriting looked like?
I've always been fascinated by the marks we leave on a page.
Like a fingerprint, each of us puts pen to paper a little differently.
The slant.
The spacing.
The letters that run together.
Even the mistakes.
A few years ago, I wanted a project to feel genuinely handwritten.
With a friend's help, I created a font from my own writing.
I loved the result.
But it left me thinking about something much bigger:
What if we could preserve the handwriting of the people we love?
Not a close approximation.
The real thing.
Something their children and grandchildren could keep long after they're gone.
Their handwriting, forever.
All it takes is an afternoon, a pen, and a few sheets of paper.
Don't overthink it.
Don't try to make it perfect.
The shaky bits are the good bits.
With love,
